The Government of Sindh’s School Education & Literacy Department (SE&LD) has announced short-term consultant jobs under the Actions to Strengthen Performance for Inclusive Education (ASPIRE) project. Educational Qualifications and Experience
Each position has specific educational qualifications and experience requirements, as outlined below:
Database Administrator
- Minimum five years of experience as a database administrator (SQLServer, MySQL, PostgreSQL) with high availability configuration, optimization.
- MCSE/MCP certification in database management.
- Additional weightage will be given (5% marks) for backup and service continuity, data integration, and experience with cloud-based technologies.
ETL Developer
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Data Engineering.
- Minimum five years of experience as an ETL developer with proficiency in ETL tools and technologies.
- Preference will be given to candidates with certification in ETL tools or technologies.
- Good knowledge of various databases is mandatory.

Power BI Developer
- Minimum five years of experience as a Power BI developer with proven experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration.
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes and workflows using tools like Azure Landing Zone, Talend, Informatica, or custom scripts.
- BS/BE degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Experience with Power BI desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Report Server is mandatory.
- Microsoft Power BI certifications are an added advantage.
- Ability to develop rich dashboards.
- Knowledge of DAX expressions, and implementation of security is also required.
- Power BI developer should be familiar with scripting
